We had an incredible stay at this luxurious hotel on top of a hill. The location provided us with lovely breezes and stunning views. The room was spacious and quiet, with a comfortable bed that gave us the best sleep we've had in a long time. The private jacuzzi in the bathroom was a wonderful treat after a day of swimming, and the daily yoga sessions provided a refreshing start to our mornings. The swimming pool was perfect for those who enjoy swimming long distances. The staff here were incredibly helpful and the free WiFi was available throughout the hotel.
We highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a peaceful, luxurious experience.

It was surely a NICE stay. Old people should consider this hotel. Location, a short walk to all attractions. Fabulous base for vacation in Rawai.

This place is conveniently located near a popular spot and is very affordable, within walking distance to Atsumi Raw Cafe for lunch.

The layout of the resort and the room itself.
Breakfast was quite average with very little variety on a day to day basis.

It was really lovely! It is clean, calm, staff is friendly and it is just a place with great atmosphere! Food at the hotel was also really good.
It is not just by the beach, which is also fine and there is a free shuttle bus to the best beach in Phuket, Nai Harn.

I had a wonderful stay in this hotel. The room was comfy and spacious with a terrace outside. The morning yoga sessions were refreshing and the swimming pool was great for swimming long distances. The cleanliness was impressive, and the hotel facilities, especially the private jacuzzi in the bathroom, were great. The staff was helpful and the hotel even arranged transportation to restaurants and islands.
Not obvious to find, but it is worth the effort.

It's a very good hotel, with very good restaurant, all the tai food in the restaurant is very delicious. The building was built in the garden, but not garden in the buildings. If in batong beach, you will never find such a wonderful hotel.

View from the hotel, swimmingpool, rooms with outdoor shower, quality of food
location a little bit isolated, but beautyfull and no problem to get somewhere with free hotel-shuttle or taxi (taxi asked by reception too expensive..!)

It is an amazing setting with beautifully kept grounds and a fantastic pool. The facilities are very good as is the daily breakfast.
The small things, which matter when one's paying $200 per night in Thailand, were sometimes lacking. For example, our room was sometimes not cleaned when we were out of the room so we had to vacate it at 4pm when we were chilling out so the bed could be made and the 'shuttle service' would pick up and drop off at fairly arbitrary locations so we sometimes missed it and had to get a taxi. The onsite restaurant is good but expensive when compared with nearby restaurants. This too goes for the spa.

The beautiful surroundings, the huge rooms and great facilities , and the friendly Thai staff were some of the highlights of our stay. We also loved the special evening set up for guests to meet the resort staff and chat over drinks. the happy hour drink specials were a great bonus.
The resort was located a bit far from the popular beaches and we found the walk up and down a steep hill a bit tiring after exploring around Rawai. The buffet dinner could have been better, as the national dish was missing from the menu.

My partner & I stayed with our baby daughter at the Golden Tulip Mangosteen for seven nights. It's in a remote location but if you're wanting a break away from everything, this is a perfect resort to stay in. The staff were very attentive & helpful with any request we made. As others have described, the pool is gorgeous and meanders in a free form pattern through part of the resort. Although it must have had quite a number of guests during our stay the resort still seemed extremely peaceful and quiet. The rooms are lovely and we enjoyed the novelty of both the outdoor shower area as well as the gorgeous views from our little terrace with its hammock. Next time would stay in a more accessible location but for this stay it was perfect.
If you're looking for somewhere to stay that's accessible to the beach and towns, I would go elsewhere. We ended up hiring a car for two days so we could get out and see some of Phuket as it was too difficult trying to work timings with the hotel shuttle bus with a baby.
